Napping in right field

Although not caught here, Amber was certainly napping in right field when I passed her on my way to stretch my injured butt/leg. With an equal love of burritos, smackass and kickball, Amber should be around for a while. Her inexplicable final exam at the end of June means that two kickball players have won a beer each from her including yours truly (who tricked her into agreeing to buy him a barrel sized beer). Sweet

The two lady killers

Jason and Darren seem to dominate the team Cassanova market. With Jason covering the hole at SS and Darren stomping around left field, there are few reasons for the ladies not to look towards the left side of the field. Jason's wild baserunning combined with his insistence to do the honorable (albeit crazy) thing on base has netted Anna (listed two posts previously).

The next Albert Pujoles?

Very few men can command respect at first base. Prince Fielder, Albert Pujoles & Ryan Howard dominate but few can compare to Trent. Equipped with his field issue headband and a stellar knowledge of dentistry, Trent plays first base and kicking with equal panache and grace.

Like a rock

Quiet, serene and fiercely powerful, Miles was injured this week but commanded the bench well and first base coach well. He ensured that the team would run the bases as smart as we could. A monster on the flipcup course and beer pong pro circuits, Miles made up for his lack of play with some stellar drinking.

The newcomer in a badass bandana

Dan joined us on week two but showed up in a bandana and everybody knows bandanas are cool. Initially not doing very much, Dan took over for an injured Andy and rocked out at third base playing with poise, badassery, and toughness. Knowing his lady was in the car waiting in the parking lot, the girls of the Nothing managed to keep away...this week.

Killer Baserunner

Anna may not have the power foot like James but she makes up for it guile, cunning and quick running around the basepaths. Forever flustering Jason's mind with her ladylike charm, she is certainly a centerfielder to be feared.

League Leader

Our fearless league leader who has command of a killer right curveball and a foot that can devaste an opposing team just by stepping onto the field. James terrorizes the basepaths and women's hearts as they all fight have a few moments with this tough individual.
