The commish of the league

The commish of our league and I reffed a game for the blue and orange team (go UVA). Eventually they asked we switch places so that I took over at home plate and the commish got to chat with folks in the field (he does have a silver tongue and I think a number of the girls on the opposing team were giving him an eye that had a bit of smoldering look in it). Anyway as the game ended I ran across the field to get my napsack but James decided that it would be good to just rest for a second. The rest can only be described in photos. Note the dedication to holding the beer.

Picking nose dare

Only two girls would dare pick each others nose. There is photograph evidence to prove it. No need to say more.

Our fearless team leader

Only one man has the champion way about him to get drunk and still look like a saint stepping off a holy mount. His name is Russ and for all this picture does for him, you know he is our leader.

I look evil and other news

Some girls on our team decided to start kissing. I managed to sandwich myself inbetween but the look on my face is not of delight but pure evil. Not sure but I think beer had something to do with this situation. Note that in two out of three pictures somebody managed to get behind the action to look goofily at the camera.

Drunkball

Amber, Isaiah, Miles and I started the league off with a bang. That crazy guy in the blue headband brought up the rules to a new game called drunkball. As the game progressed people started wanting to play themselves and eventually three games of drunkball were being played. No word on how much beer was consumed or how many skinned knees came out of it but everybody had a good time. For those who don't know the rules, I will list them on the attached website.

Those Brits can't eat American Food

This needs a post for the pure fact that this picture is hilarious. Note the bacon.

Game Updates

The game was a rough one as the mud played havoc with team Nothing and the other teams insanely fast catcher. Runs were few and far between but Miles did manage to come around the bags for a run and did it almost nonchalantly. Defensive plays were strong as always. Darren was a speedy roadrunner at catcher chasing down bunters with ease. Jason had some great catches in the outfield and the monster pitcher James took down the other team with some great stats. 5IP, 1ER, 3K, 1BB.
